[QUOTE=jckkerrison;34877] but of course pride of place had to go to Magicol Merlyn & China Blue {RIP} so lovely having them with us bless them.....x
Awwww, Jckkerrison. I so understand. I am amazed that Oscar has been gone for nearly two years and I still miss him. I love our young boys dearly but it doesn't take away anything from the paw prints Oscar left on my heart... There was a special connection. Such happy memories to keep close. I love the decorations. Good idea!!!

Bless, sounds like yours have behaved themselves for the most part then.... Those tree decorations are a lovely idea. I didn't need to bother, I'd got a real life one!!

Our cats are boring and they never touch the tree! Mandy is a tree climber when she is outside, so I'm not sure what stops her from going up the Christmas tree, maybe the pine needles are too pinchy? Years ago we did have a MC that knocked over our tree. He was left behind by DH's ex and had tons of behaviors thanks to being raised by someone who was mostly insane. George didn't actually climb the tree in a proper fashion, rather he leapt from the floor to the top of the tree in one jump and knocked the whole thing over, smashing several glass ornaments upon which I stepped and cut my feet the next morning. George eventually went to another home because we could not (and honestly did not) want to deal with his destructiveness considering he wasn't really our cat. I'm glad my kitties now are pretty well behaved with household stuff.

Jckkerrison, I have just re-read my post and realised how it sounded - I meant I'd got a real life Christmas tree decoration because she was always sitting in it lol. I would NEVER have said that if I thought you'd lost all your cats, it would have been really insensitive! The downside to the written word eh?!
