Thanks everyone... yes I think he's well and truly overruled...
I think because here in rural Western Australia if a cat is caught without a collar on people automatically assume it's a feral cat.
Gryfn won't be be going outside so I think I'm going to overrule DH on this one.... and I know he won't like it...
