Hehe, I've discovered the MC liking for spaghetti, when they thieved some off the dinner table. So I cooked them some beef mince and put a bit of chopped spaghetti in it! Crikey, it was like getting the kids' tea, (not that I have any actual kids).
This is the first time in my 20 years of cat ownership that I've cooked dinner for the cats. I think about what they might like at dinnertime, and shop for it specially. Could be fresh chicken, beef, or fresh fish scraps from the fish van. Failing that, it's a tin of sardines. All topped off with kitten bics. Am I going soft?
Larry and Monty absolutely love to get their noses in whatever we're eating. If they don't actually want to eat it, they'll happily take it away and play with it (fight over it!). Sometimes they surprise me though, for example the other day Monty pinched a leftover slice of steamed green bean...and ate it!

Sorry its a boy thing I think, Hector does it too! Roxy had a sickly period and used to really cry before she was sick so it was grab her and put her on the kitchen floor(easier to clean tiles than carpet) when I heard the early warning cry and as I had my hands full of heaving kitten keep Hector at a leg distance with a well placed foot.
