I've been keeping this to myself so that I don't jinx things but guess who's going to see some black smoke kittens tomorrow???

Cannot wait to see them - same breeder I got Freyja from, so I know I can expect great kittens and fab tempraments (if a bit bonkers). And, they're actually related to Freyja as Freyja's Grand-dad is the Dad of the kittens. How cool is that?

I have absolutely NO idea how you go about integrating a second kitten with one who's got used to ruling the roost, but I'm optimistic that as they're from the same breeder they'll have been socialised in a similar way, and there's only 3 months difference in ages.

So excited - I'd really like Freyja to have a playmate, and that was all the excuse OH needed to agree to a second one; he's absolutely besotted with Freyja and worries that she'll be bored all day when we're both at work (I neglected to mention that she'll be asleep most of the day seeing as her entertainment was my entire business case...).

Watch this space!

You lucky thing & I am sure Freyja will think the same,we have had no trouble intergrating any of ours,yes there was the odd growl & hiss,still is if someone oversteps their station but have never regretted adding to our MC empire.I will be away for a few days so will have to wait to catch up on the outcome....

Now off for a few days so looking forward to getting home & reading all about it,boy or girl......? Got to wait until Tuesday night to find out,not fair,daren't suggest to hubby I take laptop along he thinks I spend too much time on it when we are at home,so off to the Welsh/Shropshire border without it,going to see the daughter plus the two feline grandchildren......

In the first image, Freyja was exactly 4 months old.

In the second image, she was just over 7 months old.

Don't ask me how I got her to pose the same way twice!

Love those ears on Freyja,she is turning into a little stunner,it is lovely when you can compare photos alongside like that because you can really see a big difference.

Wow Karen, she's really coming along! Look at those great big lynx tips, and gorgeous face, would love to give her a big fuss. Interesting how the different breeding lines can vary: my 2 don't have much in the way of lynx tips just now, although they do seem to be growing, like the rest of them!

PS, Big Larry update; 5.34 kgs today! What a lump!!! But the biggest, softest, daftest, nicest lump in the world.
