Her breeders always have the camera on standby when a queen is delivering. I have similar pics of little Minnie ... I always think they look like some weird sort of hatchlings.

Tomorrow next month El Monto turns 1 year old, and Minnie on January 31. So shortly I am going to bore you with more 'then and now' pics.

El Monto is from a different breeder who didn't take any 'just out of the egg' pics. But hubby shot some wonderful portraits of his cute little face when we first went to meet him at 9 weeks. So watch this space.
