    What is Hector??

Before anyone gets clever, I know he's a coonie but what I want to know is what is his coat pattern called. Roxy I am pretty sure is a blue smoke but I am curious about what sort of tabby Hector is.

The pictures are of them enjoying the garden this afternoon. What is Hector??-2108-003.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-005.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-016.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-022.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-023.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-014.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-019.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-018.jpgWhat is Hector??-2108-021.jpg

He he I think Stoke may be a little out of your way lol, I started to wonder when I was looking at the photos after I had taken them, he loves having his picture taken Roxy on the other hand nearly always looks grumpy!!!I know someone on here will be able to tell me what his pattern is.

From what I can see in pictures 4 & 5 he looks as if he is carrying the classic pattern so silver black classic tabby, should be on his pedigree certificate though & that will prove me completely wrong....x

Even a hobby breeder can take on a prefix & provide you with paperwork, but have just looked at babe pictures & he definately has the classic pattern but doesn't look so silver so could be he also is a blue, what colour are his pads....? Roxy is a solid because he hasn't got the eye make up,if he is a smoke he will be a silver colour down towards the roots of his coat & in his pictures he does look very much like he is as his face has the darker look that smokes have, we will all be knocking on your door to have a look....x

What I see is a black silver tabby ( classic ) no blue, the other cat is blue solid.
I breed a few black silvertabby's and I have a blacksilver tabby girl.
    And Hector looks like her.

In the netherlands we bin all hobby breeders, but we breed with pedigree and all papers and test for the cats.
We named someone who is breeding without a pedigree a backyardbreeder, ore a breadbreeder...someone who make fake coonies...and make a lot of money to sell them as full mainecoon, but who tell you he is really a Mainecoon without papers? In holland we say its a houscat ( moggy ) with long hair
