Well....our little ones caught a cold so we can't pick them up until Monday.....we are going crazy here waiting for them! I'm thinking of buying pet insurance for them. Do any of you have policies on your kittens? I've read really good things about Embrace - not cheap though!

Sorry that you have to wait longer but it's better to have them healthy before you pick them up. I totally know how it feels waiting for these cute munchkins. I've got to wait until next Thursday to pick ours up. Time seems to be ticking along veryyyyy slooooowwwww..LOL!!

I have had pet insurance before but it didn't pay off. In the end, I had paid more in premiums, than what I had used it for, KWIM? I think it really depends on whether the kittens will be indoor or outdoor. I would think you can buy the basic plan for an indoor and needing to buy something that will cover emerg. if they will be outdoor.

It's nice to have pet insurance for the peace of mind. I am thinking of getting the middle range for both Tequila and Maya. It depends on what is covered and how much it will cost for 2.

The person at the shelter told me that she just wanted the kittens to be recovered before giving them to us. I'm hoping it isn't anything - she says they are doing much better now.

After losing our last kitten to FELV, we are obviously paranoid about anything and everything.

Just praying they will be ok and healthy - my daughters have been through so much this past 3 months losing our last kitty.

Well....I don't know if they are right and they are a Maine Coon mix but they definitely have the fun personalities of a Maine Coon :-) On our drive home, both of them were lying on their backs begging for tummy rubs! haha
