What’s your favourite type/colour of Maine Coon and why?
What’s your favourite type/colour of Maine Coon and why? You have your most common Coons from brown classic tabby, silver tabby, ginger tabby, cream tabby and torte.
I think my favourite colour would have to be silver with white, then a pure white Coon then a tabby with white.
What are your thoughts?

My Beloved Samantha was a Blue Patched Tabby (Torbie) and the most beautiful cat I've ever known.
Everyone who ever met her did a double take and commented on what a beautiful cat she was.
But her great beauty was far surpassed by her cheerful joyous spirit.
Her Papa misses her every day, so the choice was easy.
I also just love the Party Colored Girls. Torties, Torbies and Calico, those that have passed through my life have had a certain style and zest for life, each one's markings are unique as their personalities.

I love all my boys colours
First came Riley who is blue silver with white, then came Chester in a lovely warm brown tabby and white, then I got a bit adventurous and decided to have a go at showing, enter Alfie, solid white with green eyes (see my avatar!) and in June Oscar came home and he's probably the most "exotic" of the four as he is blue solid and high white with polydactyl front feet. I'm still waiting for my dream girl - a flashy tortie (lots of red) and high white

I expect any MCC owner to believe that their cat is the most beautiful and desirable.
I hope to some day soon own a Big Red Tabby Male, Samantha's father was a Red Mackerel Tabby and he was just a magnificent looking cat.

I am partial to classic brown tabbies with or without white. I've only come to love the brown classics because of our beloved dear Missy (RIP). She was like a little miniture brown grizzly bear.
My next favorite and hoping to add to our clan is a Red boy.

hi thanks for the reply. i must say i love your Alfie he's the type of white cat i would love to have. it must be a bummer getting rid of the white cat hairs from your cloths. i used to have a pure white moggie (snowy) and i used to have to wrap sticky tape around my hand and pat my cloths to get the hairs off lol. can i ask what weight is he?

Alfie is quite lean at the moment. He's probably about 6.5-7kgs. Hes got the vets next week for his boosters so they'll weigh him properly then. As far as cat hair on clothes - that was already a lost cause before we got Alfie. Everything I own is covered is a fine film of cat hairs of various colours. Its stuck to the car seats, its even migrated to my chair at work. They all know I'm a Mad Cat Lady so I dont really care
