    Advantage II vs. Frontline Plus

It seems like the spot-on treatments are the most common for flea & tick control. The online reviews favor Advantage and dislike Frontline. A few on the MCF responded to my collar vs spot-on post saying they like Frontline, but no one wrote in about Advantage.

Has anyone tried both and which one did you settle on?

I started using advocat last year after frontline had repeatedly failed to kill fleas. I tried getting hold of advantage but couldn't find it in the UK, at least not the good stuff!

I don't work out front too often so don't really know how all the different products work nowadays but was hoping to have a word with Anthony who keeps up to date on all of them but unfortunately it was so busy never had a chance but did notice we don't keep too much Advantage on the shelf so take it we don't sell too much of that product. I too like Bethy_boo had big problems with the Frontline Combo about 18 months ago, always fine with the spray & ordinary frontline but as soon as I used combo I had an horrendous flea infestation,I moved onto Stronghold which has been fine & the cats are not a bit bothered about me applying it were as with the frontline they would run & hide but that doesn't do ticks. The main reason I preffered Frontline was because it is non systemic which has to be good but not when it doesn't do the job.
Hopefully someone out there has tried both products & can give you a good answer as to which one they think is the best.....
