Thread: Switching to a covered box

Hi Leona, your Magic sounds gorgeous. How old is he? If he is still very young you will have to 'fine tune' the housetraining. If he used the litterbox OK but then peed on the bed, it may just have been an accident. It is very early days. Don't be annoyed with him if he does this or you will make it worse.

If he is confined to your bedroom at the moment I think it is OK to move the litterbox to where you want it, but don't move it again, and watch him to make sure he is using it OK. If you know the time of day when he wants to 'go', be especially vigilant and 'remind' him by placing him on the tray. When he 'goes' in the tray, tell him what a good boy he is.
