Thread: Maine coon and cohabitation with norwegian

Hi all,

Anyone got any experience with maine coons and other cat breeds? We have been offered a Norwegian kitten and what with Schrodinger being on his own we think it would be great for him to have some company especially while he's still young.

My concerns and i ask for anyones advice, recommendations, information, is how do you find introducing a new cat/kitten in the home?

To be honest im not sure how Shrodes going to take it. We've discovered over the last 6-12 months that when ever he see's another cat outside he flips his *&^?% and gets REALLY nervous (does the mouth clicking noises, shakes like Michael J Fox and normally bolts inside... for a cat his size... he really is a pussy!
