I don't know if it's typical but my three also tend to be rather rough with each other but it's very rare for a real squabble to break out. Alliances tend to be quite flexible also - sometimes Poppy and Sophie are thick as thieves and Max seems a bit lonely, other times Max and Poppy are pals and Sophie is left to please herself.
Chasing games are one of the big favourites and they all thunder about from room to room (if doors are left open too far) in hot pursuit of each other, up and down the cat trees leaving fur in their wake. Max can be a bit of a pest and if he's bored and the others are snoozing, he'll often go and bother Poppy (who naps high on a cat tree) by swatting her tail until she hisses. Being deaf, her volume control isn't very good so a hiss from Poppy can be heard from far away. She never follows up on the threat though - which he knows very well - and the tail-swatting-hissing game can go on for ages.
Poppy's bothering game involves hiding behind a door and rugby-tackling Sophie or Max as they wander through. Max takes it well and flops down for a wrestle but Sophie can be outraged and a sitting-up slapping session kicks off - apparently without using claws however.
Who needs TV when you have Maine Coons??Wouldn't swap them for the world!
