Thread: Advice on Introducing Kittens

Hi everyone! My name is Nick and I am very excited that I will be taking home my first cat in 3 weeks. He is a purebred Red Tabby Maine Coon kitten. I am also getting a Ragdoll kitten in the end of november. My fiance and I just moved in to a very large 1 bedroom apartment but its all open rooms. The only doors that close is our bedroom and bathroom. I was wondering if anyone could share advice on the best way to introduce the 2 kittens. There will be a 3 month gap in between taking them home, do you think I will have much trouble introducing them? Weve decided to own 2 cats I thought the best way would be to get them young and close in age and to introduce them while they are kittens. I have read much about the keeping them in seperate rooms for a while method but that would mean locking my MC out of my bedroom while the Ragdoll kitten adjusts. I am not sure how this would go because I plan on letting my MC sleep in the bedroom with us. Ive also read that people just put them together right away and have no problems. Please advice. Thanks!
