I too have the DC41 animal, having recently replaced my old Dyson which was a bit heavy. They are not the cheapest but they are absolutely the best as far as I'm concerned.
I particularly like the the little turbo attachment for vacuuming the furniture.Visit us at www.longwalkclark.co.uk

Will give it a look, though just taken mine apart and found what can only be described as a mountain of dust in it, so cleaned it out, but watching a number of Dyson on ebay at the moment so will see what happens

Hi, I have the miele cat and dog- also works very well and has a 'quiet ' mode that helps if you have animals that hate the hoover!! Actually, my 5 1/2 month kitten sprawls around on the areas of wooden floor, so I must admit to being tempted to just swirl him around with my feet, to act as a duster!

Def Dyson Animal upright - the only thing we've found that works! I have no idea how they make so much mess when I brush them several times a week. Although I did catch Sunshine pulling out Moonlight's fur the other day - and she seemed to be enjoying him doing it

I have the Dyson as well and recently added a Neato vacuum robot. That thing works wonders!!! Runs once a day, keeps the boys entertained and I only have to use Mr Dyson once a week for the hard to reach bits....
