Thread: The Breeze Litter System

One of our clients always litter trains her dogs & when I went round one day saw that she had a product called second nature dog litter pan,at a show a few months later a stall had them on display as litter trays for larger cats but also as a bed,I bought a load & have found them ideal for out in the cats pen.... Have just checked to see if the product is still available but looks as if they have changed the style which is a shame as it would no longer be "multi functional" ....
Like BasilHayden I also use under bed storage containers as litter trays lot better choice for sizes,lot cheaper & a lot lot easier for cleaning out....!

I started Buzz and Baxter on one jumbo tray using the same litter as the breeder and one Breeze System tray. They used both. I liked the Breeze system but they liked to do everything together and there was not enough room in the Breeze tray for two 12 week old MC kittens. After a month, I decided to move on to two jumbo trays as there was no way the Breeze tray was going to accommodate a full grown male - even one at a time. Great idea for a litter box system although the boys like to bury poo which is not really possible with the pellets. I was hoping they might use one box for poo and the Breeze for pee until it hit me that would mean traveling with two litter boxes! I really liked that there was no dust and no tracking. Thanks. The aspect that I really liked about this tray besides the 0% track was that it separated the pee. Cat currently uses a a large storage container. He doesn't track as much as my dog did surprisingly, but the problem I have with Cat's box is even though I scoop a few times a day there's always urine odor and it's hard to scoop and not get the crumbles. I don't know if it's the litter. I am currently using arm and hammer scoopable and I was using Tidy cats which I don't recall having any problem with that litter, but I have 40lbs of that litter.

Right now I am using Dr Easleys kitten attract three to four inches deep. It is fairly dust free and doesn't track as much as some. It is a clay litter and clumps really well - before the urine sinks to the plastic bottom of the tray. We also have the litter locker which I love. (That sounds a little strange). Eventually I will probably move to Dr Easleys Precious Cat. It does a good job of containing the odor unless it is not changed before the crystals are saturated. I can handle tracking - box odor, no way!

I really want to get rid of this litter, but it's such a waste! I don't even like the smell of it fresh out of the container. I usually prefer unscented litters and use litter deodorizers in it. If only this box were larger or there was one similar.

If you can, why not donate the unwanted litter to a local shelter? We've done this with dry & canned food, treats, medicines, toys, bedding, etc.

I use the largest cat box with lid along with the pine pellets. Our 20 lb half-MC fit fine. I've tried the clumping litter, the crystals, & non-clumping clay litter. I love the pine and will never go back to the other stuff. I feel the pine does not leave behind any odor. For tracking, I use a bathmat in front of the box. I do get some tracking with the pine, but not as much as the other stuff.

Whats tracking??
