I started off with the biggest hooded trays I could find but the adult girl I had started peeing on the top..... weird thing is daughter had the same problem with her cat {daughter to mine so things run in the feline family lines too} she said take a lid off of one of them & she will be fine,I did & she was but also noted then that the other two with lids on didn't get used so much so came to the conclusion that with the one big boy I had then that he most probaly couldn't move round as well as he liked,MC's do love to dig their way through to the underneath, took all tops off & all trays got used again,as I needed to replace I took up the idea of someone else on the forum, bought the plastic under bed storage containers, they are smooth & a lot lot easier to clean, you can buy one as deep & as long as you can fit into your room & the cats adore it,so much more room for happy digging & even the babes love it,great fun.....
