she is such s sweetie! she looks like a baby teddy bear on your avatar, Dot! :-D
Neevie does the scraping the floor thing too - all my cats have done it, not always systematically - I rekon it's instinct, in the wild they might want to keep some for later by burrying it? or being very clean creatures they bury to keep it from stinking up nature when it rots... (I'd go for the first option though)
the once over when you change her litter however, I haven't seen that before... I know that cats have their pheromones glands at the root of their claws and their whiskers, that's why they scratch their post and rub their faces against anything and anyone they like... may be Misha is making extra sure it's her litter and noone elses?

Yeah....the water thing...even though she was quite small compared to some of her water bowls (as you will know once full they are quite heavy, especially the ceramic ones...but Mischa used to manage to tip the water all over the floor, my daughter did not believe it until she managed to catch her doing it one day lol. I think she may be just a tad house proud...like me always finding some cleaning..thank you for your reply.
