Thread: Cloudy eye?

One day last week Dixie came to greet me in the morning with one eye shut. She had a scratched eye from wrestling with her litter mates when we got her - as it had happened literally overnight and her & Beau's claws were overdue a cut we assumed the same thing had happened. I bought some antibiotic cream which we started using two days ago, and she's already not squinting as much, but I can now see a cloudy spot on her eye. There's no discharge, it's no longer inflamed, her behaviour is normal & her vision is fine. If it wasn't for the cloudy spot, I'd be happy that the antibiotic cream is doing it's job. I don't want to put her through the trauma of the vets if the cloudy spot is just a result of the scratch & will heal. Has anybody experienced anything similar with their cats?
