Is your coonie a good traveler.
Five are good in the car & one is fine after the three P's,pook, pee & pooh, lovely, luckily they all come at once but unfortunately he is one of the show boys as well ! Merlyn has gone hundreds of miles for shows & even come on holiday with us & he just lays in his carrier & takes it all on board,or sits on my lap wearing a harness & pops up at the traffic lights & gives people a scare,he loves it.Did try them in a crate so they could have a tray but that didn't work at all they seemed to get more upset. We take Bruce to visit my brother who lives over three hours away & half way stop for a cuppa & Bruce goes for a walk around the woods on his harness causing quite a stir especially amoungst the dog population then back in the car & settle down for the rest of the trip.Have to say I think we are pretty lucky with our breed for travelling, the only time mine get vocal is if we turn left out of the estate & they know they are heading in the direction of the vets, then cats chourus doesn't even come into it,who dare says animals are daft ....
Happy travels to you all, especially the new babes.
