This seems like very atypical behavior for a new cat, who will usually try to hide for at least a day or two. My first advice would be to get in touch with the breeder and explain what is happening. A visit to the vet might also be very advisable to have your cat checked out. It's possible some calming medication might be prescribed. This is really puzzling behavior. If it can't be controlled you might want to think about returning the cat to the breeder (who I hope is reputable and will allow you to do so). I suppose it could just be separation anxiety from being removed from his litter mates, but it still seems very extreme.
