I agree with Ingrid, that does seem very extreme behaviour and I would certainly ring the breeder. The longer this goes on, the more likely the behaviour will become the norm - he's learning that screaming gets him attention, which is what he wants. I completely understand that you're worried about him and also the noise he's making, but if you can you need to discourage him from doing it. I would try ignoring the behaviour - don't ignore him, but just carry on normally going about your business. Don't immediately pick him up or start playing with him. It may be that once he learns it doesn't get him what he wants, he will stop. If this doesn't start to work in a day or two (and you don't want to return him to the breeder) I would certainly take him to the vet.
