How old is he , sounds nearly as if he came away from mum & siblings too early or was he the only babe so got a lot of human attention....? Our latest babe from a breeder who I always use craved human company & he was the only one that has ever cried if he found himself left on his own but with the company of the others ,even one that has a hissy fit at him, he would settle knowing there was another furry around if we weren't... Might pay to see how he is with your big one when you are around.
Quite honestly a lot of play will hype him up too as it is stimulating him , if he is eating ,drinking ok & using tray then doesn't seem as if there could be too much wrong with him but a quick check wouldn't hurt, try just talking to him from your chair etc rather than keep jumping to his demands as they learn pretty quickly how to have you on a short lead but also speaking with the breeder could help as she/he would know how their babes normally react in their new homes, good luck hope you can get it sorted for both of you...xx
