    The worst case I have seen was a dog & he had to have upper & lower lids done on both eyes,except for the first 24hrs when they look a bit like a bloodhound or should I say bloodcat it is surprising how quick the puffiness goes & everthying settles down.I always think this shows off another side of the vets work,plastic surgeon & he has to get it just right....
    I have seen cases where the irritation has been so bad that it has actually caused ulcers on the corneas,I don't think any vet would give you an option if things were that bad but have to agree that it is a job well done sooner rather than later.
