I think having a facebook profile that could be 'liked' is a great idea (with a link on the info page to this forum of course)..there is a large community of breeders on FB..we are all on there!

I don't have a breeders badge beside my name

Dave can I make a suggestion? Sometimes my computer doesn't want to clear cookies. Could we have a Mark all forums Read option? Trying to do it now just says I don't have sufficient privledges. And it would really come in handy sometimes

    Moving forward

    Hi Dave ,
This is all sounding too high tec for me but as long as there is a help section, like Helen I have someone in the family who is good on these things but she now lives over 4 hours away so have to write a list of "help me's" for when she comes home, no doubt will find out how to do things eventually,I still have problems even now finding my way round the site & there has been occasions when I have found out something by default so obviously don't know how I ever got there.
One thing I noticed the other day, don't know if it was just me but Woodside when she posted under "breeder" you couldn't read the post unless you were logged in,I thought it had disappeared when I returned to check something but as soon as I logged on again it was there,or maybe that is done like that for a reason.
Will look forward to getting even more lost around the forum.

I was going to suggest a Facebook page that brings traffic to the forum. And you are already on the Linkedin Maine Coon page, as we know ;-)

Linkedin is a "professional" social network - facebook for office workers and more about networking for business / CVs / jobs etc. There are also discussion groups - boring ones like "Low Latency Trading" and "Marketing Professionals" and then there are the Maine Coon, Canon EOS Cameras, Garmin Satnav etc. groups. Not much traffic really, but sometimes interesting.
