My mom always said............
My mom had this saying that went like this "Everyone loves a kitten, not that many people love cats!" I never understood this until I got older. Kittens of course are adorable and cats, well are cats. I happen to love cats. And I will love Ginger just as much or more when she is a full grown CAT. Now I am sure everyone grew up with these pearls of wisdom passed down by their folks. Lets share and have a laugh!

Hmmmm? Most of what dad said is not repeatable here. Don't recollect mom saying any such.

My girl Ginger, is "madder than a wet cat!" She just had a bath and now she will not look at me, bad mommy!

Alekto, oui, she was mad and would not look at me, she has gotten over it today!

Another favorite, "you can cry til the cows come home." Mom grew up on a farm, I grew up in the city, needless to say this did not translate well!
