Well I didn't take photos, never thought to. We're on Anna Maria Island, west coast of Florida, last night the fire works were going off from one end of the beach to the other. beach stretches for five-six miles along here as far as we can see. Went on for well over an hour.
I wonder about the use of fireworks, I mean beyond the celebration aspect. When you think of the phrase"Bombs bursting in air..." are we trying to get the feel that F. S. Keyy had when he viewed this event. Is it that many wish to experience, albeit in a milder way, what he and others went through so that as a whole this experience is not lost. I guess not, most probably don't think beyond it being another day off work and time with family. Not that there is anything wrong with that.Last edited by Whyemier; 5th July 2013 at 07:40 PM.
