    I seem to remember me of a chocolate bar with different fillings in one bar. Don't bremember me what it was called here. Haven't seen it in a coon's age. Haven't been looking either.

    whyemier, maybe it was a 7 up bar? Penny candy is from the 50' 60's the small stores had boxes of candy behind the counter for a penny apiece usually. There were the few exceptions where you got more than one piece for a penny and that was awesome! Yes, my best friend Sharon and I would go to the store with a nickel or dime and load up on the penny candy. We still laugh about that.

    Donna is that shop still open it looks awsome just like the old sweetie shops we used to have here ! I wonder how much your penny candy would cost today !! lol

    Yep, Penny candy was great when it was two for a penny. I remember going into the little neighbor hood market and getting 100 pieces for a 50 cent piece (remember 50 cent pieces/half dollars?). I got sick many a time from too-much-candy. I felt cheated when in later years they only gave you one for a penny.
