Last Trip to the vet- Clean bill of Health
Poseidon went for his final check up today!! HE is fantastic nicely healed and looking good his last xray and his new one showed his back is straighter... so we caught it in time I think.
Nearly didn't take him little sh**t... I caught Mathyuis, MJ, Dalton, Gabriel, Yoshiko,Frodo, and then came for Poseidon.. took me 20 minutes chasing the 3 legged little swine up 2 and down to sets of stairs round and around the couch under the dinning table and the beds... little pain..
He sat in the front seat of the car in his basket looking a right smug little cat!! thinking ha ha..
He has put on a lot of weight, so we may have to cut his food intake, that will be easy!! NOT...

That's great news. I'm glad he has healed so well.
Understandable that he didn't want to go into his basket... poor mite probably thought the vet would put another nasty collar on him.
And I can picture you chasing him around the place.

If he gives you the same runaround when he goes for his annual jabs, please make sure Amber's on stand-by with a camera; you'll make an entire forum's day if you catch that on film!

Great news about how quickly he's healed, must be such a relief for you. Does Amber get to sleep in her bed again now?

Lol, you would have to edit it with a bleep button, he ran everywhere where I with my bad back struggle to get him, little rat he is.. and the air was blue, well maybe heading towards indigo... mind it was through clenched teeth so he thought I was being nice.. lol
Amber is back in her bed, he has no worries and will fight all battles no matter how big they are he is so dam cheeky, Amber got a new Blackberry for Christmas and she has been boring her school friends with photos and video of the one and only Poseidon.
her ping has been going crazy lol... I think they all think she is a little crazy...
Mind if what I think is really going to be, well hope for Ambers sake think coonie babies might for a while take the place of possie for a while..

That is splendid news (the part about him healing, not having to chase him all over the place!).
At bedtime, we take Walter into our bedroom area and close the door so he can have access to his food all night (our other cats have to be strictly rationed because of weight problems). Sometimes, when it is time to get him in our room, he gets in his head that is play time and runs away just as we are about to touch him. I'm sure he enjoys it more than we do!
We've had cats for years and always did open feeding. Then we got a new cat who is quite the pig and an older cat started putting on weight. It sure is a lot more work than open feeding.
