Cheap cat toys and accessories at zooplus: SlimCat Treat Ball
Item: Its a plastic ball with holes in it, which cats can push about to get the food inside it to drop out of the holes. Its meant to help exercise your cat.

Its about the size of a large tennis ball. It has holes in the sides and you can adjust the size of the holes by twisting one half of the ball. This can then be locked in position by a simple push / click lock on the side.
You can put dry food / treats into the ball by means of a screw top on the base. Twist open, drop food in, screw closed.

All of the above adjustments / loading of the ball can be done by hand.

Nothing special to look at. It comes in blue or pink. I went for the pink one because Im so confident of my masculinity that I errrr.. ummm... ok... I admit the blue one wasnt in stock and i couldnt be bothered to wait...

Seems quite well constructed and easily washable should the need arise. Large enough that its not going to fit into any cats mouth.

Play test.
Loaded it with whiskers cat treats. Made the holes about 1/4 of the way open. Placed it on the floor and settled back.
Loki pushed it, it moved about 20cm and several treats came out. Treats were eaten and the process repeated over and over. She wasnt too bothered about using it this first time.
Slim cat?... hmm not sure this would actually count as exercise considering the food intake vs exercise. Mind game ? More likely, as they have to work out how to get the food.

Conclusion: Little kitty treats fall out reaaly easily. Need to put dry food in or make the holes really small. I think this is another review I will come back to in about a week and add more info. I was expecting this ball to have to be batted about quite hard / far for the treats to come out. As it was, they all came in within about 2ft square.
