Also the tuna cat food I’ve seen advertised has the tuna in a jelly so, maybe it’s the brine?
Sunflower oil - dunno. Might give them the squits.

I can imagine jelly being better than brine.

i drain the brine from the tuna but, i think im going to give the supermarket tuna a go. 70% tuna with 30g jelly.

This might be sort of off topic but what about the tuna in the canned wet cat food? Tequila and Maya love the Avoderm Tuna and Crab. Can too much of this be harmful? I've read that too much 'fish' is not good for them. Can someone confirm?

I have been trying to avoid wet food with Tuna in it but everything out there has tuna or some sorta fish. Tequila is getting finicky now.

Oh my, I have been going through so many cans of wet food trying to figure out who likes what. I manage to write it down but do you think I bring the darn list with me to the store? Nope. It's a guessing game.

I've got Forest, senior Manx that is picky what she eats now. She only eats Wellness minced tuna, BFF tuna and salmon, Blue Buffalo Spa Select Seafood and Salmon. Then there is Maya, she will eat anything put in front of her, she's now Miss Piggy.
Then there is Tequila. Oh Tequila. Mr.Picky. He will eat Royal Canin (not the best), Avoderm Tuna and crab, and Weruva Chicken in Gravy and Weruva Chicken and chicken liver. It seems like he won't touch much of the pate style of food.

I have tried to find a dry food for them with bigger kibble. Tequila swallows his kibble if small and then upchucks it. I need a kibble that is big that he needs to chew before swallowing. Is Before Grain kibble large size?

Little Monkey has tuna maybe once a week and I only buy her the Tuna in Springwater, think the brine has too much salt for cats. She loves tuna and if we ever have a fussy food day we can always rely on tuna.
