When Whiskey was 6 months old my vet advised switching him from kitten food to Royal Canin Maine Coon 31 formula. He's had great success with this food. The kibble is larger so he has to bite into it which helps his teeth. We don't measure his food. We keep dry food in his bowl all the time. In the morning and at dinner he gets 1 heaping teaspoon of can food. We also give him a treat every few days.
