Thread: Fat cat vs. Skinny kitten

Biscuit down all day was Merls downfall,although it was against what I believed in I thought being such big cats it should be done,very soon gave up on that when he ballooned & went back to wet food with just a smattering of biscuit & they are all fine weight wise,just dare not feed Merl with the others because he is a straight down man & four of the others take their time to enjoy it & I know he will pinch from their dishes, he even done it when there was the biscuit he could go to,Welly is the same as Merl but he is a gentleman & doesn't intrude on the others so he gets to stay with the group,he was taught his manners by bruv Shims who wacked him round the lug once when he tried to get Shims last biscuit out of the dish & the look that went with it was a sure no,no,even though the lonely biscuit had been there quite a while !
They will all differ a lot on weights though, the two baby bruvs have now got a 2.5kg weight difference between them & the heaviest is still the one that eats the less,if I put in front of him what a domestic cat ate he would be put off altogether & just walk away,he always has a dainty dish of food that you wouldn't think would keep a fly alive,but he has growed & growed......
