Omg Claire, Im so sorry to hear that hun. I can imagine your distress, I dont know much about FIP but it sounds awful fingers crossed that the tests are negative.

I dont know what else to say hun, I do feel for you and your family. Pls keep us updated on her progress. (((((BIGHUGS)))))

Has she displayed any other signs of illness at all?
Stomatitis can be a symptom of calicivirus, which causes redness and ulcers in the mouth so it is possible that if she had calici before then she could have had a flare up since joining your household.
There is no test for FIP unfortunately - all that the bloods will show is whether she has resistance to the corona virus which can mutate into FIP in some cases.
Hopefully it will come back and the vet's fears will be unfounded
Louise
