Blood can be a sign of struvite. Was it tested by the vet? Is she getting dry food? If yes, pls stop it. In case of Struvite she shall not eat any dry food.
That's the only idea I have
p.s. not sure if struvite is the correct word in english

Yes I thought the same, bladder infection, cystitis, quite severe to cause blockage and blood so could be struvite crystals. And yes, please stop feeding dry as this is a major cause.
Please take her back to the vet right away as this is a very painful condition and needs treatment urgently.
If you are not satisfied take her to another vet.

Molly had an x-ray. Stones should have been easily seen on it. It also revealed normal kidneys. She does not seem to be in pain but is certainly acting oddly. I'm giving her wet food from now on. She was eating blue wilderness chicken formula. Maybe too high in protein?

Sounds as if Molly could have two problems running side by side, being frightened of the "floor"makes you think that something happened to frighten her perhaps while she was walking past & she is blaming the floor for it,you say she is deaf so if something slipped off the side & landed on her it would scare her witless then add cystitis to the equation poor little thing would wonder what on earth had hit her, cystitis aside I would say you have two ways of approaching her hiding, make that room into a comfortable escape route for her, treat it as if all is normal & hope given time she will get her confidence back & something will spark her interest enough to make it worth walking over that dreaded floor again or ask your vet if once she has got over taking ab's if she could have something like zylkene which is a herbal "chill"capsule, with xmas coming though & lots of exciting things happening hopefully by pretending everything is normal she will return to her normal self, cuddles to her....in the confines of your daughters bedroom of course....xxx

I am heartbroken. Molly has renal lymphoma with lung and eye involvement. She is on predisone. I am devastated. It pains me to type this.
