Sounds as if Molly could have two problems running side by side, being frightened of the "floor"makes you think that something happened to frighten her perhaps while she was walking past & she is blaming the floor for it,you say she is deaf so if something slipped off the side & landed on her it would scare her witless then add cystitis to the equation poor little thing would wonder what on earth had hit her, cystitis aside I would say you have two ways of approaching her hiding, make that room into a comfortable escape route for her, treat it as if all is normal & hope given time she will get her confidence back & something will spark her interest enough to make it worth walking over that dreaded floor again or ask your vet if once she has got over taking ab's if she could have something like zylkene which is a herbal "chill"capsule, with xmas coming though & lots of exciting things happening hopefully by pretending everything is normal she will return to her normal self, cuddles to her....in the confines of your daughters bedroom of course....xxx
