Totally agree with you Janie B .... Lily's home now too ... and her brother Archie was very pleased to see her Took this picture about 2 hours after Lily came home ... she finally settled down after having run around and jumped onto the worksurfaces and investigated everything at least twice! A relaxed happy looking girl with baby bruv looking after her,how strange that two red mackerel girls have their ops in the same week, company for Ginger, perhaps they need to talk to each other about their experiences......xxx

I decided to take ginger's cone off for a while and she gave her self a good bath! Then she decided to investigate her incision, lick, lick, lick, so I put the collar back on her head. The vet said no jumping for a while, so we put her tower in the spare room. I know she is starting to feel better as she is standing on everything in the house for example....

Yes, she thought she was going to get a treat! She is definitely food motivated, just like my beagles. When anyone is in the kitchen, they are all out there looking for handouts!

Today is day 7, since Ginger got spayed! She is doing quite well and now I know where she is because I hear her E collar doink on everything she passes! She is not sure how big the collar is! My poor little baby. She is enjoying looking out the window of the patio door, as the birds and other assorted animals are returning. I have a few bird feeders and squirrel feeders out in my back yard. I am an equal opportunity animal lover If it flies, hops or runs through my yard there is food to eat. I can not wait to take her collar off for good! Maybe this Saturday.
