    klepto-cat

Anyone else have a klepto cat? Bowie loves to steal our glasses of the nightstands or anywhere else we set them. In my son's apt when he first got the cat, he would find his eyeglasses behind the stove (old stove stands out from wall...nice and warm spot) in the mornings. I have caught him often trying to snatch mine off the coffee table while I am napping on the couch. Tried leaving out other real glasses but he seem to only want his people's glasses, not his own pair. Isn't that something he knows which glasses are the ones we actually wear???? He really cracks me up sometimes.

My moggy is a huge klepto. One day i couldn't find my watch about 3 hours after getting up I heard the alarm. It was IN my kitten's food dish!!! LOL He'd stolen it and taken it 3 rooms away!

Dudley's got a little hidie hole down between the sofa and the wall. He collects random bits and pieces- we uncovered his stash a couple of days ago! It's so funny - I wonder why they do it?

We found my wife's missing mobile under the bed and Raggles hides thing behind the cushings on the sofa. I also caught Tia draging a pair of my tracksuit bottoms across the landing to wards her basket!

My sweet adorable girls never stole anything, even our best food from the table.
    They are real Ladies.
It's hard to believe that other cats can drag such large items as bags with treats or pants.

In our house it's mainly Roxy who is the tea leaf, she claims my hair clips and bands, any sweet wrappers or small poly bags, it's so funny to watch her size up something then out comes the paw and she hooks her prize with her claws.

She also checks out handbags after bits of paper, her whole head goes in!! At least when she did to the health visitors bag she found it funny

Hector likes to bring things upstairs and woke the oh up one night by sitting on his chest chomping on a crisp packet that he had tied a knot in for them to play with ............after that 3am wake up he has not done that since

Hmmm, Gracie is the klepto - Monty just the chewer - he's quite happy to leave his chomped up finds out for us to marvel over! I've yet to find Gracie's hidey-hole stash - but when I do then I'll get at least 3 slicker brushes and two laser pens back

HA!! I think this is just hysterical!! Funny thing is now when I misplace my glasses (which happens every 5 min) I can blame the cat!!!
