I wasn't quite as nice. I just grabbed a kitten (ok, cuddled, played with and stuff) took the puppy harness and plunged it over the head of the victim (ok, I let him sniff it and the let him almost walk through it as if it were a toy and the gentle made sure his ears were through fully). Put the evil moggies feet through the loop and the strap (ok, played a game of distract the head part of the kitten while a very slowly lifted the left paw through the loop and wrapped the right strap under his right shoulder).

Now, repeat for the next two.

A few shrugs and a little struggling from the explorer Dicky, but the harnesses stayed on for a couple of minutes. Left if for another week, tried again, this time very little objections.

We've been out in the garden (when enough trustworthy friends are over on a weekend to have one kitten each) twice now. Last w/e Dicky really wanted out on his own in the morning, so he got a little individual excursion even if only for a short walk around the decking.

Let's see what happens next w/e

    Hehehe!

I couldn't believe she just put her head in it! I'm going to pop it on her each night for a bit longer and then in a few days will attach a leash. I think that's when she'll go bonkers ;-)

    Keep going!

So yet another proud day ... and here's some pics of her in her harness. It's not going to last her too long, as she's on another spurt, but I'm determined to get her on the lead before that happens! For the moment, she's just wearing it around the house to get used to it, but she is so not bothered by it! **Proud Mummy!**

Oh that is so nice. Moshi is lovely by the way! I considered getting one of those vest-type harnesses from zooplus but wasn't sure how it would fly. lol

Thanks Bloo :-) That one is from Pets At Home. I think she's not throwing a wobbly coz it's soft and therefore she doesn't feel restricted. Going to try the lead later today :-/ Fingers crossed! Lol!

Oh do take pictures! By the way my husband would die if he saw photo of Moshi, he loves the black smokes, but they do seem a rarity!
