Yeah that makes sense, what wet stuff would you recommend? I don't want to upset his stomach. He eats pretty much anything so that shouldn't be a massive problem, but want to feed him the best.

Where are you based? If it's just for snacking and want something good I would go with a high meat content. . .I'm sure you'll get good feedback from others here. I know the Applaws pouches are good, heard better things about the chicken variety than the fish. When we first got Minoush we got a box of Nature's Menu kitten pouches, which is 70% meat. Their website offers more expensive 'treats' if you just google natures menu you can have a look around. I wanted to try some raw minces but finding it difficult to find a supplier LOL.

Welcome to you and Lando - beautiful MC... may I ask where the name Lando came from? I ask as i'm a bit of a Star Wars geek!
There are loads of threads on here about feeding, with lots of good suggestions and opinions so I won't regurgitate any of it! The only thing I will say is that a dry-only diet can have consequences with cats dehydrating - I've read that they're quite bad at hydrating themselves sufficiently at the best of times, so a dry-only diet can create problems with cystitis and urinary issues. Wet food has quite a high water content so it boosts their intake considerably.
I've tried Applaws, Cat Deli, Bozita, Natures Menu, Sheba prime cuts and Hi-Life from the high-meat ranges - they didn't like the texture of Natures Menu and Hi Life. They liked Applaws and Cat Deli but caused havoc with runny bums, so we're now on a combo of Whiskas and Gourmet Gold (2 pouches each per day), plus a large handful of Natures Best biscuits to free feed on between them. They get bits of salmon fillet, coley fish, steamed chicken, Sheba prime cut domes and cooked lamb mince as treats during the week.
Check out the threads though - there's a wealth of information in the threads on here. Happy searching!

Oh yes, you're right about the dehydration thing. We actually bought a cat mate water fountain before we got him-and he's constantly drinking from it which is good. I know some cats only like to drink from running water or a tap lol !

Cosma (from Zooplus) has a high meant content, around the 70% mark and my boys guzzle that food up.
