    Sad and happy thread

We lost our persian last week, she was poorly on and off for a few months now and came home Friday from work, to deterioration, and we knew it wouldn't be long, we managed to get into the vets before they closed, she is now buried under the tree in the garden with 'red chicken' who died a couple of months ago, it's turning into pet cemetary :(

Anyway, we don't waste any time, we are going to see a Red tabby girl on Tuesday, our local breeder has one available and she is ready to go (co incidence, honest!)

Our life for the past few days has not been lonely with our current MC, she clearly does not know how to grieve She has kept us happy and helped us forget the past week.

Must say I am loving the thought of having 2 around me
    Very exciting

A sad but exciting time for you, you have my sympathies. It's terrible when you have to say goodbye but you have done exactly what we did which was to fill the vacancy as soon as possible. Looking forward to seeing some pics! x

    Little update

Our MC has been noticing the loss of her 'friend' she has been extra fussy at 3am (grrr!), sleeping in the same room as us and generally looking a bit lost some times

Went to see the kitty yesterday, we have reserved her pending one thing, she is everything we wanted and reminds me of when we saw our current MC as a kitty; she was cute, not too shy, not too boisterous; and the red kitty was of very similar temperament, which is good, When things are definite I will put up a picture If all goes well, we pick her up Monday

An update, we picked up the new MC yesterday, her name is Poppy and she is a classic red, very cute and fussy
Just working on integrating her now, quite hard work
Her confidence is just coming now and she is currently trying to show the very big Lily who is boss

Forgot how bad kitty poo smelt, was cleaning it off the wall earlier, no idea how she managed that one
what the hell do they put in these foods!!?
    Pics to follow
