Would need to see more (and larger) photos. The M marking is not unique to Maine Coons, despite what many people think. I would look for size/weight, head size/shape, ear size/shape/fur, paw size and whether heavily furred on bottom, tail long and bushy, hair long but actually different lengths at different places on body, and voice (soft).
