    Should i report them??

    Hi everyone,

im pretty new to the site, so first i'll say hi, and thanks for looking/helping.

I recently brought home a new addition, Toby our "maine coon" (i say it like that as i bought him as a maine coon, but the vet said he wasnt a full breed). Not that im bothered in the slightest, he is gorgeous and i love him to bits.

Anyway.... when i went to collect Toby, he was kept in a dog cage, and a small one at that, just enough room for a litter trap and a bed, no sign of his mum, only him and his brother.
I decided straight away to take him home, he was covered head to toe in matted fur and just looked so sad, i wish i could of taken them both, but i didnt have enough money.

I asked to see the parents, and she showed my her other cats, she has about 7-8 Maine Coons - although im not an expert so im not sure if they were all "proper" maine coons (if that makes sense?)

Today i took Toby to the vet, to have him checked over, and to register him for his injections and micro-chip.
He had ear mites, and possible cat flu, as he has sneezing fits once a day sometimes more. Otherwise he is a happy boy, eating and playing well, he was weighed in at 1.6kg @ 10 weeks.

The vet said he was doing well considered where he came from, and that she knew with me he'd get the love he deserved (i know my vet very well, and they are just the best in my opinion).

ANYWAYS im rambling, i'm thinking of letting someone know (im not sure who though???) about this "breeder" she said she wasnt a breeder, that this litter wasnt intended, yet i see she has more kittens for sale!!! and claiming still that they are maine coons.

So i guess what im asking for is advise, on if i should report her and who i would report her to??

    thank you again

    AnneMarie x
