She is settling in believe me,eating a good sign, using litter tray good sign, wanting to be with you good sign, poor little thing has been through a traumatic experience without the addition of the spay as well, girls vary on how quickly they recover some are up & on the go straight away some 24 to 48 hours,it is major surgery after all & the op site will be sore & tender so the fact she is relaxing is good it is giving her time to recover from everything, time to get her strength up & hopefully very soon she will be a playful puss enjoying her new family & exploring. The time to get worried is if they go off their food or not using the tray properly neither a problem at the moment so enjoy her & at some point post some photos so we can enjoy her as well, she is one lucky girl...x

. The lovely volunteer asked me if I would get her as soon as she got out of surgery so she would not have to go back into the cold compound cage (coed with barking dogs). SO, we picked her up. She's been here for almost 3 days. Shes eating like a starving baby and purring like crazy, but she does not want to engage in any play? She just wants to hang with us on the couch/bed/lap in front of the fire or on the electric blanket. She is not moving around too much? She is using litter box.
