Growing up

Simba made my daughter cry last night. She has been taking him up to bed with her everynight about 9.30 where he sleeps on her bed. Last night she came down at about 10pm in tears - she said he didn't want to sleep with her and kept running to the door. I explained to her that he is growing up and won't want to sleep in her room for ever - he probably isn't tired. I promised I would bring him up later when he looked tired. He played for an hour downstairs making us all laugh and then at 11pm he settled down so I took him up to her room and quietly put him down on her bed - she was fast asleep. Simba walked up to her head, pawed her cheek very gently as if to tell her he was there and then purred like a train (so loudly I thought he would wake her) and then laid down next to her. So sweet, I told her this in the morning and it made her smile I think she got over tired last night and thought Simba didn't love her anymore
