Thread: Growing up

We have had this same experience. Our current 7mos old boy slept in bed with us or my daughter every single night until a few of months ago when one night he no longer wanted to (and has not since). He will come and get into bed at times during the night, but no longer sleeps the night through here as he did as a young kitten. It can be hard when it first happens, since it is so abrupt. We find that the cats rotate through sleeping patterns. At one point the kitten was sleeping on top of the cat tree in our bedroom every night. That went on for like two weeks, but now he hasn't done that for several weeks. Currently the two females are contesting that location for sleeping. Some nights all four cats are in our bedroom when we go to sleep and other nights none remain.
