I Had to reply as I'm sitting here laughing as this is exactly what my lovely girl does!
She usually gets a small treat (ham/chicken/egg whatever) in the mornings when I'm making up our lunches and she will reach up and wave at me to remind me that she is still (very patiently!) waiting for her treat! But if I try to leave the kitchen without giving her the treat she will stand in the doorway with her arms out (just like your avatar pic) to stop my going! If I manage to get past her she runs round me and does it again!
Crazy cats!

I am surprised not by her behavior (MC are the smartest cats in the world) but what she chose to love as a treat. I read in multiple books that cats once they not kittens become lactose intolerant, since they lack lactase, and any diary product can cause diarrhea.
And your kittie eats what? This is even worse than milk! Does she get any loose stools? Or may be she has a mutation that allows her to digest sour cream? My kitties wrinkle their noses on any diary products.
