Oh yeah it is strange, I can't say it's something i've ever seen Harry doing, he either lies out straight on his side (looks a bit like a door draught excluder !) or curled up in a "C" shape with his chin resting on his paws but I guess they are all different. Sometimes he lies flat on his belly with his front and back legs stretched out.

Re:Strange cat
One of my newest cats goes to sleep sitting up,never where it is safe but on top of their tower. To begin with he just nodded & as his head dropped he would wake up but now he goes right off & gradually his head sinks until his nose touches his front feet & he can be like that for nearlly an hour,he has been known to keel right over though & land in a heap on the floor so he then starts washing & looks at you as if to say that was what he meant to do,also when he goes to the toilet he puts his front feet onto the side of the tray so he looks as if he is just standing there thinking of England, looks really strange as they are the high sided trays that once upon a time had lids on & one would think it would be uncomfortable but obviously not. When he first started doing it he would have a ring of cats sitting watching him but they don't bother anymore,we just get a fit of the giggles if we catch him with that blissful look on his face..
