    Cat flap dilemma

    Hi all

we currently have a moggy that uses a catflap to enter and exit the house, but our new mainecoon is an indoors cat. Are there any catflaps anyone knows of that allows microchip exit? (I know that there are microchip entry) just so that our normal moggy can continue to enter and exit the house as normal. I don't want our new MC to be using the cat flap as well as we currently don't have a garden area prepared.

    Thanks!

Hi Katie, yes there are cat flaps that you program to ID chip number so will only allow that animal to use it...bet you will soon need a "prepared"garden though as once the MC gets a bit of weight behind it wouldn't want to lay a bet that it wouldn't follow, would end up wearing it as a collar but....!!!!! x

Can I recommend Felisafe? Their fencing has completely idiot-proofed our garden, including the fate and the trees for about £700 including pro fitting and several upgrades, including a whole new gate. Our fence was almost 60m long, to give you an idea, and we had to deal with 3 trees.
