Simba's first time outside
Such a beautiful day here today, were all sitting in the garden and Simba came to the patio doors and starting meowing asking to come out with us - I felt so sorry for him so I opened the door and out he came. He didn't wander far - didn't even go down to the bottom half of the garden, just followed us around. He stayed out there with us most of the morning and is now exhausted fast asleep in the lounge. He loved the grass and kept rolling around on it and he loved chasing butterflies. My daughter thought he would run off across the fields never to be seen again so she is quite relieved he stayed with us
. Maggie and Elsa kept a close eye on him
Here are some pictures of him.

Simba certainly is handsome. How big is he getting now? This should be starting into fast growth period soon. He does not look small next to the dog--given his age.

Thanks for the compliments on my beautiful boy
His whiskers are getting longer, when we got him from the breeder his mum had chewed most of them off but they are growing back slowly.
Not sure what his weight is now as I have no way of weighing him - he is too big to fit into the kitchen scales now - I will have to see if he registers on the bathroom ones yet, but he is eating loads and I seem to be constantly filling up his bowl - and he has an expensive taste too! He even tries eating the dogs food while they are eating it and yesterday Elsa had a biscuit in the living room and Simba ran over to see what she was eating. Elsa gave him a warning look like don't go eating my biscuit but Simba just went up to her and patted her on her face with his paw and then walked off as if he was saying I'm not scared of you - he definitely rules the roost around here
He is still fast asleep! It has completely worn him out, think it must be nervous energy as he didn't run around much. Actually as I type this he has just started washing himself so I expect he will be hungry now
