A new fozzy cat in my family

After awhile of being without a Maine Coon in the house, I searched local animal pounds, then visited the one in my city. To my suprise, one captivated me that the petfinder website did not do justice - even said he was a small cat. :D

Thanks to a donation of someone that brought this cat off the street a month ago, I paid only $50. When I can show better pictures, I'd like the cat show people to see them....just about every feature in appearance and behavior shouts Maine Coon.

His official name is Stanley - it's similar to long-haired cats I've named Spencer. But I also call him Gronk, after the huge tight end for the New England Patriots - Ron Gronkowski. This cat is also HUGE and from New England - got him within my "salary cap" :D (you understand this if you follow American football)

Nearly a year ago, I trapped a large white blue-eyed cat - a flame-point Siamese. He felt rejected/demoted, but think he is accepting Stanley/Gronk.

I love seeing stories like this and glad to see another loving cat going to a good home. The ruff on the chest does shout Maine Coon but strange to think the shelter listed as a small cat

If this isn't the best chick magnet picture I've ever seen, I don't know what is! Good luck with your cute kitties, they look beautiful
